The StoryEdge with Adele Fedorak

Welcome

Welcome to The StoryEdge with Adele Fedorak!

Welcome to The Story Edge, where your personal stories give you an edge––in business and in life.

Telling stories––about something that happened to us––is our natural, human mode of communication. And yet, it doesn’t always feel natural to tell a story.

You likely tell a story with ease when you have the time and space––and an engaged supportive audience. Maybe at home, or with friends, or in other “spacious settings,” such as on a long drive, a day hike, or when you’re stuck on a chairlift.  And you probably tell a story with ease when an eager audience asks you a great question.

However, that ease flies out the window when you have something important to say––and when it feels like there isn’t the invitation to share––or circumstances don’t feel quite right.

Discomfort seeps into your bones, and you can’t quite find your voice.

Yet, deep down, you know your story will help someone.

You know that the absolute best way to share your wisdom is to create the space for your voice to be heard––through story.

And the only way to get better at story is to do intentional story work with other human beings ––to engage in “story practice.”

The Story Edge is the place where you can do your story work. Whether you are a seasoned storyteller or new to the field, this community is the safe place to find, understand, and tell your stories. This is a place infused with the wisdom of others who are finding their stories, seeking meaning from them, and ultimately, sharing their stories.

By becoming part of The Story Edge  you will have space in your life to find and share your meaningful stories in a safe and supportive community. In a chaotic, noisy, and quickly changing world, it’s our stories that help us be clear and connected.

Our world needs more and better stories. Our world needs your stories.

I am Adele Fedorak.

I am a storyteller. I have stories to tell.

How about you?

Are you a storyteller?

Do you have stories to tell?

Working with your stories is the way to surface your wisdom, get clarity about your current context, and develop the confidence to choose a path forward. And at the same time, develop as a storyteller.

I support my clients to release those stories that aren’t helpful and grow the ones that are. To grow the stories that are supportive, clear, vital and nurturing.

I also support my clients when they have a story that needs to be told –– to share information, to support change, to inspire an audience to take action. Stories that have impact don’t emerge naturally, they are identified and told very intentionally.

I provide a variety of opportunities to people interested in doing story work:

  • People who want a private and focused experience work with me one-on-one
  • People who want a small, intimate and consistent group work with me in a 'story pod'
  • People who want to learn and experience story strategies at a slower pace with a supportive community join my StoryClub

I have been working and exploring story for over 25 years. My current practice is a unique integration of 3 different disciplines – narrative coaching, language development, and leadership. It’s proven to be an extremely useful approach to harvesting our stories for insights and wisdom meant to assist us in navigating our life’s journey.

If you are interested in credentials here you go… I am a Certified Narrative Coach and a Certified Co-Active Professional Coach. I have a Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology (with a special interest in narrative development in children) and a post-graduate certificate in Personal Leadership in the Public Sector from Royal Roads University.
